My Facebook page keeps showing this manufacturer coming up as an advert.
www.thaliacapos.com/
I know from a previous thread that these guys did a crowd fund a couple of years back to start off their business and it looks like it was successful.
Have any Forum members got one/used one? They are mighty expensive and obviously the bling factor comes in to play as well. They seem to claim a unique manufacturing technique and technical spec and also supply attachments which will fit different guitars (see Brian's thread today on neck radius and capo fit for some technical stuff).
So are you just paying for bling or is it worth the money? I have a biggish birthday coming up and could persuade someone to get one but don't want to waste money.

It looks good, but you can tell its been made on a budget (maybe I'm just fussy) - that's not to say it's not good value for money. The G7th is much better engineered and finished though.
TBH it's bulky and heavy and difficult to squeeze to mobilise - in the hands of Leo, not a problem.
I have it lying around with my other capos, as they are easier to use, it's rarely used.
However - if you are making position changes with a capo mid song, it is ideal for the job.
I'd go for a blingy gold G7th myself for a special birthday, or an Elliott.

I really liked my G7 until it jammed! Back with the humble Shubb now — and quit happy!

I tried one briefly and didn't like it. It wouldn't go beyond the fifth fret so I'm back to the Quick Draw for DADGAD accompaniment and a Kyser for other stuff.

I've had the same Shubb for 27 years. Wouldn't use anything else.
