Reg is one of the great English songwriters and performers. He has a lovely guitar picking style, gentle voice that really suits his social conscience and social history songs.
This new album is totally solo and beautifully recorded. The songs are very intimate and not the usual social content. But these are beautiful songs, wonderfully performed with just a guitar and a harmonica.There are shades here of Leonard Cohen and early Dylan but the songs are uniquely Reg.
I reckon all of you pickers would like this and songwriters will be enthralled.
