Dave White has kindly donated a lovely concert ukulele he has made (inc padded gigbag, owners manual and build pics on CD) with the request that it be raffled to help build up a Forum "float", or contingency fund to meet future expenses.
Any registered member may enter, though to ensure tranparency and fairness Dave, Martin and I will not be eligible to enter.
£5 donated via the Paypal button (you don't even need to have a Paypal account) at the bottom of the page, adding the word UKE, your name and username to the Paypal message box, will give you one chance of winning in the draw.
Members who have already donated to the Forum fund in response to Martin's last appeal will each be allocated one chance to win without further charge provided that they let Martin know by PM that they actually wish to enter the draw.
Any member may increase their chance of winning, with each extra £5 donated at any time up till the closing date earning an extra chance to win.
The closing date and absolute deadline for entries will be 23.59hrs on August 31st.
Martin will allocate each donation a number (or numbers if donation totals more than £5 )and make the draw at the beginning of September in a random manner similar to that used in many Friday Forum Giveaways.
Any postal costs that may incurred by Martin will be met from the donated sums. Possibly a personal handover could be arranged depending on who the winner might be.
Here is Tristan Seume doing some fancy frailing on the actual uke last weekend at Halsway Manor...
I'll upload some further sounds soon, and there is a retrospective build thread from Dave here -

Meanwhile here's some uke porn for you -
Plus all the techy stuff (some of the wood info here is incorrect - see build thread for accurate details - I'll change the handbook pic soon when I receive the correct one from Dave.)
Martin, Keith, Dave
