What a lot of work has gone into it, and it looks lovely! Have you played it yet? How does it sound?
I'm pleased for you that you've finally finished it, but will certainly miss anticipating each thrilling instalment. It's been a jolly entertaining read. You could print the thread out and get it published.

That's very nice of you, missclarktree . It's a very modest looking guitar. I have played it and to me it sounds quite good; that's as far as I'm prepared to go. You see I've never really played a "good" guitar and I'm not sure how much I can trust my ear-brain complex to tell me whether it's good or not, which is one reason I'm thrilled to be going to Halifax this weekend; I'm hoping to play some "good" guitars and have my guitars played a little by good players who can tell me their strengths and weaknesses. That should all provide me with enough fodder to carry on building. I might even sell one one of these days. |
