Have received an 'early' birthday present of a Telecaster guitar. I nipped into my local guitar emporium to have a play of some acoustics and ended up looking at some leccies before leaving. Some strange force overcame me and, before I knew it, I was sat with said Telecaster in my hands and plugged into an amp and I tried my best to sound a bit Nashville country....with a bit of 'The Pretenders' jangly sounding guitar chords thrown in...and I was besotted. Have got my eye on a Gretsch for next year.

A Squier Affinity. Butterscotch blonde with black pickguard. 6 string topload bridge. Two pick ups...3 way switching. Narrow c profile neck. Twangy as twangy can be (yeehaw!). Will post a pic as and when I work out how to do so from my mobile.

This lad from Dawsons has got some serious chops. And if his Telecaster skills weren't amazing.....he plays a mean jazz guitar too. It must be wonderful to be able to play a guitar as good as this.

Brilliant! Big Tele fan here. I have a Tokai Breezysound from the mid-80s that's done in paisley just like James Burton had in Elvis's band, and I have a Mexican 72 Custom Reissue - Mick Green / Keef style. Love 'em both!
