Very nice Dave, and what an unusual rear cutaway in the first guitar - had me scratching my head for a minute thinking it was supported by a bathroom coloured guitar stand

The girls were very specific and designed the shapes themselves. Looking good, looking very good, but where's the soundports? Keith Didn't have a long enough drill bit

Eye-catching, to be sure! (And in a good way)
Dave, a serious (honest) question.... Do you need to be a luthier to build an electric guitar? Or just a competent carpenter? I suppose I'm asking how much difference to an electric guitar, if any, do different tone woods make?

Leo, If it's not a hollow body then pretty much a carpenter and a dab hand with a router but you still have to handle thin wood plates for the veneers/drop tops and also the fretboard. As to your second question I refer you to the electric nerds who can wax lyrical about different wood sounds. I know nada Plug it in and turn it up to 11

I want an amp that will make the floorboards ripple in time when I play Truckin'.
Did you give those electric beauties names, Dave?

I want an amp that will make the floorboards ripple in time when I play Truckin'. My bass amp does that (well almost!) - it's lovely actually feeling the room around you shake when you hit a deep note or two
