We're currently staying with friends in France. One of these little beauties is also a house guest.

I don't know if one has featured here before, but here are a few photos. It has rubber strings which make it sound like a mini double bass. It's fretless, the fret positions being marked for guidance. It has four individual piezos with 3 band EQ and according to its owner it's pretty magnificent when plugged in.

Available on eBay for £216 or Amazon for 240 euros (probably about £400 by the time you read this
