Hi All,

I had a visit from Dougie MacLean a wee while ago to get some work done on his Tirga Beag and while he was here we discussed a new Tenor model.

Last month I went over to Perthshire to deliver it. Heres a bit of the build and a few videos that might be of interest.
The Materials are reclaimed Brazilian Mahogany from the Bar top from The Dreel Tavern in Anstruther, Adirondack, Amazon Rosewood, Rocklite - Ebano

My great friend Kevin Macleod and George Duff came over a day or two before it headed off to play some tunes and have a blether about its construction.

Dougie will be using it in the Perthshire Amber Festival that starts tomorrow along with his Butterstone TV broadcasts.

I think I'd love an instrument made from an old bar top, although it would take soundhole sniffing to a whole new level :drunk:
