This is my most recent acquisition.
My 2 main loves these days, are instrumental surf music and space/prog rock.
I have 2 Burns Marvins for the surf music.
This Musicman was bought for playing space/prog rock.
The Luke models were originally designed with the guitarist, Steve Luthaker.
The BFR stands for Ball Family Reserve, which means custom or special.

Having played and owned a load of electrics over the years, I honestly think Musicman are the best guitars in the world.
Purely my opinion, of course
This model is just so good. Looks, sounds and playabiltiy are just superb.
The EMG pickups are not to everybody's taste. Some find them clinical.
The humbucker is great. Loads of bite and definition.
The single coils are very clean and chimey.
If you want warm and characterful, go to my Burns Marvins, with their Rezomatic pickups.
Probably the best electric guitar I have played.
