Any good? There's one for sale on Gumtree that looks very tasty, and at a seemingly great price. There does seem to be a little bit of damage pictured, but it's not mentioned in the description.    Don't know if I'm seriously interested or not, but I can't resist a bargain! |

It looks a decent quality bass.
No experience of that model.
Like many decent basses, that aren't Fender or Rickenbacker, it will lose a lot of value, from new to used.
Are you gonna take a punt?

Not sure. I don't play enough really, but they retail at £550 and this one is £180, so it's tempting.

I went to see it this evening.
Its a lovely thing, but the damage is to both sides of the neck and fingerboard, and I dint know if it would be easily fixed.
Also the action is very high, with a lot of relief in the neck.
Obviously I didn't know if the truss rod would operate to adjust this or if there was enough adjustment room left in the saddle screws.
Sadly I had to leave it. Pity. Gorgeous looking bass and it sounded not bad either.

You did right, young Martin.
That damage on the fingerboard/neck looks bad and would really annoy, when playing.
Have you got a bass, at the moment?

Oh yeah, I remember you playing this, in a pic, before.
I think you covered your head, with a smiley face.
Really nice bass there.
I demoed one in a shop, for a guy that couldn't really play and it sounded and played great.
