Hi folks. Yes, I know I have a few Mel Bay books myself, and run the risk of spamming you here, but I genuinely like this book, and feel some of you here might like it as much. So, what is it? www.melbay.com/Products/WBM23/achieving-guitar-artistry--linear-guitar-etudes.aspxBasically there are 57 etudes for either fingerstyle or pick/plectrum style, using for the most part single notes, precious few vertical chords, covering most of the fretboard, and in various keys. There is no TAB, so they can be seen as great sight-reading material, but I think they offer so much more. Within a week of getting the book I had recorded five videos, which will give you a good overview. William Bay is the son of the late Mel Bay, and is now himself in semi retirement, devoting his free time to composing for the guitar. William is happy for these pieces to be played fingerstyle, but I use a plectrum as I'm trying to improve my plectrum technique at present. In no particular order:

All good now. I don't read dots so without TAB I will have to pass on this edition.
