Gibson SJ100 - Walnut - Honeyburst

Hi All - I finally put my money where my mouth is a stumped up the £1800.00 for a SJ100 Walnut Honeyburst and can't think why I waited so long to do it , played it earlier in the year in a noisy shop but then went back and booked out a room , they had to drag me out 2 hours later, they where really patient with me, and when i asked them they re strung it for me and it really sparkled . Absolutely fallen in love with the guitar, its got a beautiful tone , big sound when needed but it is also easy to control the sound , it picks really nice and I even love the smell of it. The build quality is first rate , I normally have luthier built hand made guitars and this is right up there with them in terms of finish. The Anthem pickup works really well and it is hidden in the sound hole so easy to get at and very controllable,  although when i used it live ( Folk Club) I still prefer to mic up the guitar, Cant think of anything i don't like about the guitar and I am usually very picky !!!!. If you see one around I would have a play and see what you think. Dosent ever feel like a big guitar which of course it is,  but it sits nicely over the thigh and balances there. I always find dreadnoughts ride up a bit over my leg but then again i am built like a brick outhouse!!!!
