All jokes aside (for once) it is unquestionably a thing of great beauty. I can see why Romeros are so desirable among banjoistas. If ever something was a “keeper” this is it. I look forward to hearing it sing.

I did a very quick recording - not the best and forgive the playing/singing, but here is (roughly) how it sounds:

And why isn't this in The Plucky Duck? Sounds great, Martin. I assume you chose a body shot to make sure we couldn't see your mile-wide grin whilst playing the Romero

But, the elephant in the room...how can we be sure that's Martin?

Yay! Nice banjering Martin! And your singing is considerably better than you believe it to be. Enjoyed that - thanks! Keith

Great stuff - enjoyed the playing and the singing. Even as a non-banjo aficionado, I can tell there is something very special about your Romero.

Thanks for listening Leo, Richard, Keith, Brian & Dave. Very kind of you It's not in the Plucky Duck because it's just a quick 'soundbite' to demonstrate the sound, and the lack of a face shot is self-explanatory. Don't want the site shut down!

Excellent Martin. I would love to be able to play clawhammer banjo, the sound is just so funky and moving!
