An interesting half hour long documentary about his tragic life and his songs. It includes interviews with John Renbourn, Al Stewart and others. I must confess I didn't know much about him other than he wrote Blues Run The Game so I've ordered the CD to catch up with his other songs. The programme is downloadable for the next 27 days at www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b01nxh4sIain

A sad, sad story. Yet another musician who’s life might have been different if we had better understood mental health issues back then.

Thank you for posting this. I was introduced to the music of Jackson C. Frank on the Bert Jansch documentary, Acoustic Routes in 1991. I bought my first guitar right after watching that documentary. I've had Jackson's album for years and really enjoy listening to it.

Thanks for the heads up. Unfortunately, I can't find the download option. The original version of "Blues Run The Game" is so much more melancholic than any other version I have heard - beautiful.
