Massimo,
A few questions..
I remember reading that the top of your Lakewood was refinished with French Polishing, did it have a difference on the tone? Is the top more fragile that it is now FP'd?
Also, you posted up some pictures of a vintage Selmer being restored, what the progress with that? Being a Django fan, that instrument looked very special indeed.

Another post I never replied, again sorry. First answer: yes!!! yes yes yes! the tone did evidently improve, I wolud do it again. The frencj polishing is more frsagile, no way, but it offers a bif advantage: it can be very easily and completely restored, while this is not true for nitro. 2nd answer: that Selmer is a very special guitar, it was completely restored, here are the pictures: Selmer Maccaferri #279 (the lost guitar)
