I'm building a pedal board and am struggling to understand the power supply ratings. I've been looking at Mooer and PedalTrain boards, and the power supplies from both companies. I can get a Mooer Macro Power Supply for £60, or the Pedaltrain Spark for about £180. That's rather a hefty price difference. The former is rated at 200mA and the latter, 1300mA with 2 x 500mA outputs and 3 x 100 mA outputs. I'm not sure at all what that means. I'll be powering my Boss RC-300 Loopstation. Its PSU wall wart is rated with an input of 250mA and ouput of 9V / 0.5A. For my Venue DI and Line 6 G70, I've been using a Mooer switching adapter rated with an input of 0.4A and an output of 9V / 2.0A. I know from building PCs that the power supply should be a component that you spend money on and I assume the same goes for gear. Would the Mooer one at £60 do the job? So much for my science lessons at school!

All I know is that Pedal Power are highly rated — I guess you are right!
