It's rubbish. Only kidding. Very good review Richard, well deserved and I'm sure they'll be plenty more like it. Looking forward to the official launch Iain

Good review and great version of 'Drink a little whisky' was that a banjo in the background Yeah but it wasn’t mine, it belonged to Reg Meuross. I’ll think twice before agreeing to open for him again, I can tell you.

That is a good review Richard, you must be pleased with that and quite right too because it is an excellent CD which I am still enjoying. Good set of live videos as well Phil

Thanks everyone. I’ve discovered there may be another in the offing. Naturally I shall only confirm this if it’s a glowing one...

robmc , you're nearer the mark than you might think. When I gave up being respectable for a living I was asked by my work colleagues what I wanted as a leaving gift. Resisting the urge to say "the last 35 years of my life back", I opted for an Eagle Music voucher towards the purchase of a banjo - which has sat in its case, unloved and unplayed, for the last six years. Why then, did I acquire such a thing to mark my departure to take up new challenges as a professional layabout? Simple. I hated that f*****g job.

Riverman and so the old Chinese proverb is true: A Good banjo is worth a lifetime of sorrow. I actually quite like the banjo (please don't ban me Martin)
