James was the first 'introspective' songwriter I came across when I saw him on Top Of The Pops singing 'Fire And Rain' and I consequently have most if not all his music in one format or other. Stumbled on this today and thought it was great: Hope you enjoy it as much as I did Regards Phil

Classic concert Phil - great!! I've loved this one ever since seeing it on the telly. Just love the Gibson guitar tone - infinitely preferable to his "modern" Olsen sound, though admittedly the latter sits better in a band context. JT is one of those people who, for me, has everything just right, and in the right proportions - well-crafted songs with interesting but not dominating guitar arrangements and sung in such an appealing voice. Thanks for posting this Phil, top stuff! Keith

Ditto. I've got (I think) everything he's done. Some stuff I like more than others, obviously, but the thing that gets me every time I see him is the relaxed way he plays the guitar - no frenetic finger fumbles, it just seems lazy, unhurried, calm, almost soporific...
