Fab looking guitar, Francis - great work!
I must say I was a bit worried reading 'jobbie' in the title. It means something else where I'm from...

Made new polishing mops and given the body a couple of coats of white polish as a sealer: Start on shaping the neck and profiling the fretboard...

Mahogany/WRC a match made in heaven, the guitar of choice for most recording engineers. Lovely work as always Francis.

Hi Kym - Not really. Not exactly to G&G but close. I arch the upper harmonic brace and allow the two primary braces pass under the UHB. Arched to miss the top of the primary braces but longer sideways to allow more movement to the SB

Aha, but no picture back before you closed the box.
It's like picking up a magazine (for the articles, of course) but noticing that the centrefold is missing.

Early start this morning cleaning up around the fretboard which was bonded to the neck overnight. All the major work now complete, some work on the heel cap to do, final clean-up and think about getting some finish on it. Bridge has a couple of small tape squares holding it in position. That will be fixed in place after the finish is applied. Tuners will be Gotoh 510's (21:1 ratio). This is the most 'drum' like body I've built - very loud when tapped.

Started buffing the finish. Still a little more needed on the back and then get the bridge on With the Lacewood - same body dims just everything a bit foreshortened:
