I have resurrected an L00 build that I started last year. I don't really have the time to do this properly, I snatch an hour here and there when I can. I am working full time and when the weather is nice more often than not I'll be on my bike, I'll be doing a 100K round trip to Southport tomorrow. Today I prepared the top and back ready for gluing, I may glue it up tomorrow or next weekend. I'll post my progress; however, don't get too excited the last one took me three years to finish.

Nice to see your progress! My first guitar, a 00, has taken me two years so far, and the finish line is still some way off.
May i ask about the back and sides; they seem to have a gloss to them, have you applied a finish to them at this stage?

A bit of neck carving today, I put this in the vice on the 15th December 2018. I said it would be slow progress. J

If I did this for a living I would be bankrupt in six weeks Looks like hours and hours of careful work. At least you can take comfort from the fact that when it’s finished, you’ll have all that time free to enjoy playing it!

I had to make a new neck, the neck angle was wrong. Tried to recover it but failed. This is a much better neck and I went with a bound fingerboard which I think looks much nicer.
