I have resurrected an L00 build that I started last year. I don't really have the time to do this properly, I snatch an hour here and there when I can. I am working full time and when the weather is nice more often than not I'll be on my bike, I'll be doing a 100K round trip to Southport tomorrow. Today I prepared the top and back ready for gluing, I may glue it up tomorrow or next weekend. I'll post my progress; however, don't get too excited the last one took me three years to finish.   |

Nice to see your progress! My first guitar, a 00, has taken me two years so far, and the finish line is still some way off.
May i ask about the back and sides; they seem to have a gloss to them, have you applied a finish to them at this stage?

   I had to make a new neck, the neck angle was wrong. Tried to recover it but failed. This is a much better neck and I went with a bound fingerboard which I think looks much nicer. |
