Glad there are some fans of our Nickel Bronze here! I really like them too. Pretty much everything you described is bang on too. You should also find they are much more stable in tuning that Phosphors Bronze also Adam.

Nice videos and playing man! I visited Rory's workshop last year, its awesome and I can confirm Rory is a top bloke. He has made some weird and wonderful stuff over the years too. I remember chatting to him about a crazy split headstock five string. www.taranguitars.co.uk/chris-amer/

Pretty good analysis man!
I often describe our Silk and Steel as being the classical string for the acoustic guitarist. It is a very hybrid sounding set. The basses sound a lot like a classical, quite mellow (partially because of the Silver-Plated Copper), somewhat dampened (because of the silk winding) but a bit bright, and a lot more tension, overall because of the steel core. The trebles are typically acoustic sounding.
It is a nice in-between set and I like them for parlor sized guitars for fingerpicking.
Thanks for reporting your findings!
. FYI - If you want to go 'full classical' our Folk Nylon sets are essentially our famous EJ45 with a ball end on

I was there with D'Addario, none of you even came and said hello Haha. Imagine being there for two full days in the midst of all that noodling haha. Definitely killer. It is one of the larger and most attended shows generally in the UK, but in terms of acoustic you are right, there isn't too much going on. Adam. I saw the stand the D’Addario stand but it was very busy. Yeah man. I was up and down throughout the day but generally busy rather than quiet which was great!

Very possibly mate. I was in there 1st July last year? According to my credit card statement that's the day I bought my Tubemeister combo! You were restringing an acoustic and I was trying the combo with my white Charvel. Small world init? Craig Ah great man! Please don't be offended that I don't remember, I spend most of my weekends doing that activity haha. Hope you are still enjoying the Nickel Bronze strings though!

Hi guys! Anyone got any plans for attending the Birmingham Guitar Show in February? It's more of an electric show to be honest if you've not been before, but there's a nice little acoustic room upstairs.
Anyway, make sure you come and say hi at D'Addario booth. We won't have much going on in the way of acoustics, but be great to put a few faces to a few names!
Adam.

Interesting idea. I've tried to fake this in the past using pick and finger almost simultaneously (the results are really not worth the effort required!). If the picks were further apart you might get a nice delay / chorus type feel.

Nice piece of playing Adam. I wouldn't worry about feeling it needs more practice ... do we ever get to the stage when we feel a video / recording is as good as it gets! Seeing that distinctive T on the headstock made me feel a bit nostalgic about my sold Java. Mark Ah thanks Mark. You are absolutely right. I'm going to get some 'proper' recording done with it soon. Just needs a bit of a set up and possibly a smidge shaved from the saddle.
