Paul, I understand completely - I've always had a long unfulfilled lust to play a Gibson too. Here's another very beautiful Gibson that I really like - Keith

One of my fave albums of all time, Stanley Rd by Paul Weller - I had the pleasure of seeing him live at the height of this album in Manchester (Apollo I think it was) some years ago now, but the experience has stuck with me, as it was a bloody GREAT gig There's many classic's, here's one

Don't know why but I find this song quite emotional, maybe because of the meaning behind it I don't know really? What I do know is I like it a lot sadly to be ruined years later by the manufactured boy band shite. Have liked his voice/songs for aaaages and would love to hear him live, sadly I cant see that happening.

The Boyzone travesty made the song meaningless, being sung in the same octave irrespective of whether it was words from the Father or the Son. Cat Stephens amazing voice managed the two voices an octave apart beautifully - not easy, as my appalling efforts at singing it demonstrate! Keith

Blimey, I'd almost completely forgotten about Yusuf/Cat's songs and their influence on me during my formative years! My favourite of his was 'Sitting' which, strangely enough isn't a guitar-based song.. though he is almost single-handedly responsible for my wanting to own a J200. He also kind of proved to me that you don't have to be a brilliant guitarist - the words are as important to a song (although, clearly, this doesn't hold for instrumentals ). Great pick, philw

I was at the very same gig at the Apollo, and yes it was `GREAT`.
