One of my favourite CD's is Penguin Eggs by Nic Jones, I can't say just 'one' is the best. However, I really like the two below:
...and this one.
If you have never heard any Nic Jones before, Penguin Eggs is a good start.

I Loved the Big O from my vague memory of him as a child, I listened to his stuff once i'd grown up a bit, by then he had sadly died, but his music I still listen too today - and the other night on Sky Arts they showed the Roy Orbison Documetry, which was great, but a sad reminder of what a tragic life he had, which would easily have broken many a person. Such as sad loss back in 1988 and only 52 .....thanks for the music Roy

May You Never is a classic...on this version John Martyn is accompanied by Kathy Mattea...both using their voices to weave around the words and melody...nice!
