nothing yet. My dear mum visited and had done a decent repair on the Tribal Planet which is holding up and does a better job than anything this side of a mono. It has a foam neck support and plastic impact/anti pierce panels round the sides making it sort of semi rigid. I believe the guy who ran the company died and they ceased trading, but woudl love to know where they had their stuff made.

Phil Henry and Hannah martin's current tour is all "oddball venues, including Liverpool's Williamson Tunnels. There's also a load of gig's being programmed at The Devil's Arse cave just above Castleton. down here

I also have to report superb customer service from them a couple of weeks back - I lost the thumbscrew from a Newport I own, and they sent a replacement without asking for any proof of purchase or anything - just first rate and I'd recommend them whole-heartedly.

Don't know if there is such a thing but does it need to be waterproof? always helpful at festivals. there are various claims of waterproofness. Nearly all of them are cordura or something similar, or "ballistic" nylon. All fairly waterproof in their basic state and I'm sure a zap with boot or tent waterproofing spray would buy me time to make it to the nearest pub.

Looks decent, but doesn't have a neck support block I'm replacing a brilliant but now knackered (external stitching all blown) semi-rigid tribal Planet case which has an array of pads, supports etc. which all velcro into place and hoping I can recycle those.

Do players circle points work in the UK at all? Can we claim our old player's points? I mailed my 900 something points off to the US back in 2011, and got a letter (with credit of the points) back saying they were out of stock of everything I asked for and then they ended the scheme. Finding it hard to buy into the new loyalty scheme.

I have a hard foam case but I really need a soft case for getting on and off buses, in cabs and often carrying one on my back while lugging a hard case and pedal board in my hands

Hi folks - insignificant birthday approaching and my old tribal Planet soft case is finally dying. Can't replace it and my missus is looking to buy me a gig bag. She laughed when I suggested she spend £200 on a Mono, so can anyone recommend anything for general use that won't break the bank but wouldn't be awful for sticking a Gibson dread, Lowden O (Jumbo) or Fylde Falstaff in? (so will need to be at least dreadnaught size)
Considering the Boston (25mm) or Tomandwill (20mm) but hoping there is something better out there.

I'm not advocating the hyper expensive guitar, but in some ways it is a bit analogous to cars. You can get a practical, comfortable, vaguely fun, reliable car that is entirely adequate for our road conditions and speed limits for a few grand (or less). Why is it then that there are people driving around in £200k vehicles? Once someone is prepared to pay that much, then people can cater to the market. I'd rather have a great guitar and a mediocre car

the photos aren't quite the same but it's still 10085037 unless my browser caching is doing something a bit odd.
