So that's it then. The tease is unveiled and I'm the proud owner of this superb instrument which is now in pride of place next to me in Nottinghamshire. The only thing that is equal to its beauty is its sound, stunning in both respects. As you will have seen on the build thread Francis has been more than patient with some of my requests and constantly helpful with his advice and experience. The guitar will be with me at Halifax this year. In fact I have been keeping a 'guitar build story' document with a lot of the photos and some technical explanations along the way from Francis; Francis is going to add a few things from the builder's perspective; I hope he's not too rude about me and my sometimes daft ideas. I will make the 'story' into a little booklet and bring a few copies to Halifax with me in case anyone is interested.
I'll update when I've had a good few sessions with it but as I said above it is stunning to play, particularly fingerstyle which is what I wanted.
Lucky chap is me!
