Above audio captured on a Zoom H2n set to XY with gain at 5 and set about 3-4 feet and slightly above the soundhole. Topped and tailed in Audacity with a 10% boost to the right channel to even the channels out.
I think clip 2 is in DADGAD but the others are what ever Matt felt like doing at the time...

Gosh. That's so much more balanced than a D28, Francis. But in clip 2 where he plays in a drop tuning you can hear the potential bass which is full and rounded, but without being overwhelming.
It seems to be a superb guitar, but because it came from your talented hands, I am not surprised.

(signed) A Fan Thanks Paul, Matt made a similar comment and the balance across the strings and up / down the neck plus a few other complimentary outbursts that I won't suffer the forum to  For a couple of clips there he was playing with a partial capo across the (for me - EADG) strings and across the (ADGBE) strings. Of course I taught him all he knows  |
