Well we live in hope...How does the Unitune clip onto the guitar? ...metal spring clip with rubber covering where it counts. Works well, though hinges back and forth rather than the all round flexibility of the Snark. Keith

I've been having a few issues with tuning lately - older ears and all that I think I'll go with some recommendations and try the Unitune out - my trusty Boss TU-10 isn't as reliable as it used to be (or as I used to think it was?), and the wee A'Addario's are fine for quick tuning but something for finer tuning would be nice. And that rules out my ears, sadly

Hello there,
I've got a Boss 1, which is quit cheap ans easy to use AND and a Boss10, which sometimes seems wrong but a change of battery sorts it out....
Both look OK to me....
Regards
Peter

You could hire this kid and clip him onto your guitar.

You could hire this kid and clip him onto your guitar. I used to work with someone like that. He's a pianist in a band

My old Snarks finish deteriorated and became tacky, I complained and didn't get anywhere

Whom did you complain to?
Can you message me the details. I'm going to complain about the clips and see if they can at least sell me a couple of new ones. If I'm lucky maybe they'll send me some for nothing.

If more people complain they might make changes.

I bought a tuning fork about 40 years ago, no problems so far. Virtually unbreakable, requires no batteries, helps with ear training, as the Americans say, it's a no brainer!
