Yes, mine is A, I don't know if they come in other notes to be honest. You don't need a whole set, just tune your A string and tune everything else to it, it's great for training your ear. I imagine any old fashioned music shop that deals with orchestral instruments would stock them, although nowadays everything seems to be bought online!

My brother used to have two - one tuned to A and one tuned to C. He used them to try to train himself to have perfect pitch, which one of his music teachers had done. At random times of the day he would try to hum an A or a C and then check it against the tuning forks.
I believe he was making good progress but he gave up on it - pretty much stopped playing (woodwind).
I have one tuned to A but I rarely use it. I think I might start again though. It's definitely good training for the ears.
