Oh and I’m thinking to put a transparent scratchplate on it as well - again, any recommendations?

As I’m sure you know different manufacturers have different tapers on their pins so you need to makes sure you get the right ones.
But a lovely guitar, never played a Tanglewood but they seem to have a good reputation.

You cannot go wrong with them really - they are well built, perhaps a little too “over engineered” but that works for the application I have in mind.

Looks perfect for the job, Graham. Tusc saddles and pins seem easily sourced and work well, but see what T'wood come up with.
I'd probably not bother with a scratchplate for myself, but I'm sure you can get celluloid sheets to cut so shape that stick electrostatically to the top, though I've never looked for them.
Good to meet another ecclesiastical axeman - solo or band? I play (and sing) with an electric bass player, a fiddler plus occasionally a pianist as well. Thankfully both places we play have decent PA systems (or at least they do now!) but with limited mixing facilities so I do the latter as well for the band with a mixer by my side.

Thanks Keith - great to know there’s another church player here!
Maybe I’ll not bother with a scratchplate until I have played it a bit.
Another guitarist and pianist is the current arrangement - so not quite a band. There is a PA system but the instruments currently are independently amplified. We’ll be looking into it all I think, used to play quite a few years ago in a building that has a professionally set up system with in ear monitors etc, was amazing, but I quite like a simpler set up.

Simple is good - keep it that way as long as you can - we have no monitoring, nor do we need it - the others just follow me - haha!

When I restrung mine the other day I noticed what looked like a metal shim under the saddle. I saw it in your photos too. Is this a normal part of guitar bridges or unique to Tanglewood?

Another fan of Tanglewoods, here. I have the TW60 and the TW40. The TW60 has been my main gigging guitar for acoustic gigs for a long long time. Wonderful guitar.

Another church player here, although not currently. We moved recently to a much more "high church" establishment, and while the music is excellent, it is rather formal, and I reckon taking a guitar into the place would get me excommunicated!
