Is that a computer monitor stand tuner? I've never seen one of those.

Mine also broke around the swivel socket, it seems to be a weak point with them. I have replaced it with a different make / type.

You'll be more in resonance with the Earth and more productive.

I have had my tuner for 6 years. I use it almost every day and it’s still faultless. It is also the most accurate I have used. It’s not cheap but, as with most things, you get what you pay for. See TC electronic polytuneBrian

I've had 3 or 4 of those and every one has broken at the ball / socket joint in the first 3 months. That one’s lasted almost 7 years. I think Snark have changed the design to remove the weak point. I now use D’Addario tuners. The sound hole ones are very discrete but the sound board on my Brook is too thick so I also have a rechargeable D’Addario.

I also found the sound hole reinforcement on my Brooks to be to thick for the D'Addrio tuner which was unfortunate but I could use it on my Martin but it went when I sold it. I've used a clip on Polytune now for a number of years and it's been fine. Phil

Let me know if you need something to tide you over- I have a D'Addario micro headstock tuner that I swapped for my TC Electronics polytune with someone on here. Don't really like the Dadd, so bought myself a unitune and normal (in tune) service is resumed.
