Looks fantastic. That cutaway is really going to look distinctive. I like the idea of the soundport, too. You must be so excited!

Yes, Phil, I do. A Spruce and Rosewood one. I didn't commission it, though. When I bought it a couple of years ago from Oasis in Ringwood, once it was put into my hands, there was no way it was going to stay in the shop. I absolutely love it. The guys at Brook make a wonderful instrument, and fantastic value for money. They're also really nice people. Will you have a pickup in yours? I bought mine without, but following a little gig at which I had to sit still and play, I took it down to Devon to have them fit a K&K Mini. If you're ever in danger of playing the guitar out, I would really recommend it. Natural sounding and well balanced. Just like the guitar only louder! I don't know how you can contain yourself for long enough have a guitar built. The wait would drive me batty!

I got my rosewood Torridge 'used' from Oasis but it had never been played or touched as far as I could see. I met the the owner in a hotel car park near Manchester airport and swapped it for my two Larrivee's - no brainer when I opened the case and played it I called at Brook last year and they fitted a K&K for me in the Torridge but not bothering with the new one. Cheers Phil

Here's a recent photo showing the snakewood bindings with the rosewood purfling on the top: I think the finish will bring out the grain more - it seems to be coming together nicely now Phil
