My taran with 12s seems happy from standard down to open C, however Emerald are building me a fan fret with similar scale to your lowden which I'll use just for C variant (CGCGCE, CFCGCD etc) and lowered tunings.
On a related note that's one of Emerald's carbon fibre travel guitars padding above ^

Never say never.
And that's enough, I think.

Never say never. And that's enough, I think. If the sale of my gibson AJ goes through on Sunday* I'll be down to just 2 acoustics (the taran and emerald 12 string), however there is Dave White's mandolin, the Tobin Octave mandolin and deering goodtime banjo ... Oh and the Les Paul gathering dust. *Though looks like I'll be taking a Takamine 12 stringer in part ex.

TBH I use various tunings on all my guitars, so don't just keep one for DADGAD or standard - but do desire/need an el-cheapo/wreck to take to the pub, I daren't buy another, but should start to think about sorting out the old Martin OO-16 for that sort of gig, but that would probably be too decent.

Take it slowly, an 1/8th turn at a time and leave it to settle, it doesn't change instantly.

He did it in front of me spent good 3-4mins with the hand in the guitar and and maybe i thought he was turning it alot. But the neck had a massive change.

Hang in there to 0:45... Maton don't make tanks, they make boats. Now we are getting into the spirit of the thread! I've been a Josh Pyke fan for some time...good to see one of his songs/vids on here.
