Hi thanks for that info, I thought as much.
I was looking at my relatively new Faith guitar and notice that there is an ever so slightly difference in colour tone on the sound board.
Actually when you tilt it one way or the other which ever way the light hits it, the tone looks darker or lighter.
from one side or the other.
Hope the build is going well, I look forward to more pictures...

I haven't got round to an update for a few weeks, but things have been progressing nicely. The box has now been closed, and the neck is well under way. Most importantly, here are a few pictures.  Sound port reinforcement patch  The completed Rims  The soundboard was glued on first using the go bar deck   I seem to have forgotten to take any pictures of the back and the completed box, but will do so soon and get them posted. |

I am now about halfway through the coats of finish, and its now starting to build nicely. Hopefully i will be able to finish the coats over the next week. Looking forward to stringing her up!    Time to start thinking about the next project :-) |
