The little music shop in the town is closing down and so my partner bought me this. Reduced from £90 to £55. The guy made it a round 50. Beautiful instrument! The kids have a uke each-high time I had my own dont you think

Congrats on your uke - they're real fun instruments and it really took me by surprise how good they can sound when Mrs VikingBlues became a uke fan / buyer in the last year or so. She has a good few (tenors and baritones), along with a couple of very excellent tenor guitars - 4 string heaven in the distaff side. Which size type is your new TW? Mark

That looks a wee cracker, Larry. A bargain too at that price for a Tanglewood!

From the model number, it seems to be a concert sized uke, which would be my preference anyway The wood on the back appears to be sapele, Larry. Very nice

Great choice, and has been said, a real bargain price. Maybe I should persuade Mrs VikingBlues to try a Concert size Uke. I find the tenors and baritones she has are no problem for size - but the soprano she started out with was way too small for my fretting hand, or for hers. Mark

Concert, soprano, tenor. Im confused by all the sizes. Soprano = tiny Concert = bigger Tenor = bigger still Baritone = bigger than a tenor Bass = not really a proper ukulele
