Hi, my name is Daniel Scott and i'm a 17 year old singer/songwriter from Edinburgh. I've been playing guitar since I was around 12 and loved it ever since. In the past year and a half i've been getting into songwriting with me and my guitar. Here is a recent bio written about myself Daniel
Scott is a 17 year old singer/songwriter from Edinburgh who has
varying influences from the likes of Stevie Wonder, John Mayer, Billy
Joel, Elvis Costello, Bryan Adams, Maroon 5, Damien Rice, David
Bowie, Radiohead etc. With a unique blend of pop-rock/folk/funk-rock
Daniel brings a range of styles to his songs. He began writing his
own songs at the age of 15 and took to the stage at venues such as
The Electric Circus, The Voodoo Rooms and The Queens Hall where he
won 'Battle Of The Bands'. His previous support gigs include 'Deke's
Geneva', 'Ben Montague' and 'Christina Novelli'. Daniel plans to
release two E.P's in the next year, more info can be found through

I have two upcoming gigs in Edinburgh. Supporting "Ben Montague" at the Electric Circus 14th April and a charity gig for Macmillan Cancer Trust at Electric Circus 21st April. It has been my dream to be a musician since I was very young as my family is quite musical, especially my Dad. I post up alot of popular song covers on my youtube channel to try and gain following. In terms of original material, i'll be having 2 E.P's recorded within the next few months which i'm really excited about and hopefully one or two music videos to go with a song or two if possible.
I would love to win this competition as "Samradh" looks beautiful and i'd imagine would sound even better too. That is the kind of guitar I would love to be playing live as I love to play acoustic guitar. Thank you. Email: danielscottmusic@hotmail.co.uk
