I often have to tack an extra bit on the sides of the lower bout sounboard to make up the full width and you just don't notice it out there near the purfling when it's all sanded and polished. Very neatly done.

Worked on the neck and fretboard today - so quick bash with a flash: Stood the triple O multiscale and the current one together as a comparison:

Wonderful looking build Francis - loving the curves on the small jumbo and the line of the cutaway - very elegant. Nice to see the little squares on the back too!

Wonderful looking build Francis - loving the curves on the small jumbo and the line of the cutaway - very elegant. Nice to see the little squares on the back too! Thanks RosieTGC I must say I feel a little awkward about using the squares . Tried laying out a spruce strip down the centre joint but it didn't look right. I tried triangles and other ideas but just kept coming back to the squares Working on the bridge now - not looking forward to drilling the compound angles for the string holes... TBC

Applied some egg white as a pore filler today which has worked well to the back plate but not quite so well on the sides. Another egg required.
