Wow! Sounds (and looks) fantastic, Dave - real ringing tones. Of course, some of that is probably down to the player...

Thanks Keith and thanks too Sister Jose... err I mean Leo. I'm proud (and relieved) that you both resisted the "William" playing with himself while "Nancy" gets better gag

... and I'm too refined. None of that ribaldry from a delicate, cultured soul such as meself.

“Nancy’s” new neck is finished and here it is next to what remains of the old neck: “Nancy’s” bridge has been glued on using hot hide glue and now the label is signed and glued in: Setting up involves fitting the Gotoh tuners and nut to the neck, bolting on the neck, reaming and slotting the bridge pin holes, fitting the bone saddles, fitting the strings and dialling in the desired action and playability by adjusting the neck relief with the truss rod, cutting the nut slots and setting the saddle heights. Here’s the finished guitar: To celebrate her re-birth here’s a little D minor waltz in DADGAD I wrote called “The Resurrection Waltz” played on “Nancy”. This is a tip of the hat to Ben Walker's ( benwalker) teaching at Halsway Manor earlier this month Here’s the happy couple “Nancy” and “William” re-born and reunited: Thanks for coming along for the journey and I hope you enjoyed the adventure.
