Well we've moved after quite a few false starts we are now in the postal district of HR2, 6 ish miles SW of Hereford. So I've finally got going on the east indian rosewood parlour. Here's a few pic's: TBC Simple BW herringbone ring with WBW line rings for a rosette. The back will have a dovetail pattern across the centre line (currently working on the routing templates for these).

Sorry, Francis, but shouldn't you be helping to sort out the new house rather than hiding away in your shed?!! Glad the move has finally come off and I imagine that puts you in the Wye Valley. Very nice. (Ah, no. I think I've got my east mixed up with my west; still, very nice, I'm sure). As for the build... I think that should take second place at the moment - but it looks nice.

If I don't hide away in the workshop I might be given a paint brush Besides we agreed that because of the delays in the move and this guitar being promised (like now!) the guitar would take priority plus we also decided that some areas of the house needed living in first so we can make a more informed decision as to alterations/additions. Made this mistake last time rushing in to 'upgrading' areas that could have been left well alone, and leaving areas that required upgrading later... TBC...

Couple more images: Finally managed to get some work done on the back of this guitar. Having lost the electrics in the workshop for a week it's been quite frustrating.

Often wondered why my joints fall apart; now I see it - I need dovetails! Great work, Francis, though probably a little nerve-racking! (To be very boring for a moment; did you know that the same technique is used underneath a table-top where two boards have pulled apart over time? Nice to see it on show for a change.)

@francis Just give me the guitar when it is finished and it wont clutter up the new house. Brownie points for you from Mrs. F.

You'll just have to wait for the next one...
