That sounds really good, Keith.
Have you posted that tune before? I seem to remember it - and certainly recall it being an Easter tune (Now The Green Blade Riseth)

Thanks Dave, Leo and Martin! It is a grand tune, and a fab instrument! You're right Leo, the tune does have Easter type words to it as well as Christmas and New Year ones. Also we sing it as the tune for Jesus Christ is Waiting (John Bell/Graham Maule) which is a fab "going out" song and uses the tune in the same way as I played it, with a decent rhythm - am looking forward to using CBM for that, as I've used the Fylde zouk for it previously. Don't think I've posted it before though Keith

Thanks Phil! Here's a hasty recording of Ceol Binn Mor used as song accompaniment, again in GDAD. app.box.com/s/xwwt26knlpk06izeb5gqHadn't intended to put the vocal harmonies on, probably shouldn't have, but it's done now! The song is by Stuart Marson, a Northants teacher and singer. I learned it many years ago from from an LP by Simon Nicol and Dave Swarbrick It is based on fact and is written about a late 18th century group of highwaymen from the Culworth area awaiting mass hanging. The song takes the form of an imagined letter from one of the men to his wife on the eve of execution. Cheery stuff eh?! Keith

Just to add here that Keith's OM (CBM) was even better to play and to listen to than I expected.
Lush, rich and very full sounding, easy on the fingers (and on the eyes), and it is really the best instrument of its kind I've ever played.
