Little more done today: Bridge plate fitting
Checking the Falcate brace positions
Braces are fitted over the bridge plate CF tow fibres applied and the curved Falcate braces bonnded with resin. The resin will take a couple of hours to set-up then will be left in the go-bar deck till morning for the resin to harden off. The short straight braces will be added after the curved braces have had their heights adjusted and an initial profile carved along their length.

No photos today - all I've done is to add the short finger and soundhole braces. Once these have set/hardened I'll shape them and add the second layer of carbon fibre tow.

The top lines of CF tow and resin applied today: Once fully cured the end of the CF tow will be trimmed back, interior given a light sanding and the remaining upper bout brace added. There's no CF tow applied to the upper bout brace and this is the only brace on the soundboard to be notched into the linings.

What flavour was the lolly, francis ? This was one aspect of the build that perhaps we should have discussed more fully to ensure the tone faeries were kept happy. Have to confess that each time I see there's a new post from you in this thread I get all excited... Keith
