An alternative career in advertising...? I'm afraid I don't have enough integrity to work in advertising...

Brilliant!! Great to know folk are up for it! Many thanks! If you can send your addresses to my email I'll start a list. rorydowling@taranguitars.co.uk I'll have a think about what would be a good guitar to sent, it going to be hard to please everyone but I'll do my best. Any more for any more? I'll run this until the guitar is ready so there's time to get your name down. All the very best, Rory www.taranguitars.co.ukP.S. We've got the theme tune anyway!!!

I'd be interested I play purely finger style and have a couple of guitars that are designed mainly for finger style an elderly Fylde Oberon and more recent a Cedar/Cocobolo Linklater

Wow - nearly missed this post am still sifting through stuff as haven't been able to logon for any length of time recently. Definitely interested I will email you my details shortly.
As for spec I'd echo Keith's and others suggestions for something (maybe even a Tirga Beag again) in cedar/mahogany it would be fascinating to hear the Taran sound coming from that combination.
cheers

Definitely up for this. I was very taken with the first road trip guitar.

Me too please , I'd love to try an Adirondack top with something a bit different to the usual mahogany or rosewood back and sides .

I've not been on the forum for a while so hi again everyone. I read the feedback from the last Taran Tour which sounded fantastic. A great idea and what a lovely way to try out a wonderful guitar without pressure (or embarrassment in my case). I understand that numbers have to be limited but i'd like to put my name forward. I may not be very good (honestly) but I do love guitars. A smaller guitar like the Taran Mhor would be my choice and a Spruce/RW mix to compare with my Sitka/MH 000 16GT. John

Hi Folks, I hope that this finds you all well. Many thanks to everyone who has signed up thus far, the list is still open to anyone who hasn't yet. So I've been thinking! How about a Taran Mhor like the one Karine Polwart picked up last week. Perhaps in Cocobolo/Italian with a bevel? Any thoughts? There has been alot of development in this model over the last few years and I'd love to see what folk think. All the best, Rory
