Keith, Rob, Colin and Iain - thanks. Phil - thanks. Glad you like the shape and Raptor Windfall. Craig - no glue, the neck attaches by two bolts. Thanks Dave.

Superb build Dave, and its sounds great too. Noticed earlier in the thread you've used lutz spruce - was that from High Mountain Tonewoods? I've just come to the end of a small batch I purchased from them some years back and every top has been a pleasure to work on. Francis

Francis,
I bought my first Lutz wood from Shane back in early 2005 and have had lots more since then - including harp guitar tops. Shane's passion and knowledge of these trees is huge and his standards amazing - I've even made a number of instruments with the Lutz he used as packaging for the sets he sent. His Lutz bracewood has absolutely no run-out. It was sad when he moved on to other things - I got a job lot set of Lutz tops and bracewood from him then - but good that he passed on High Mountain Tonewood and it is still harvesting and providing Lutz from British Columbia. It's a fabulous tonewood.
