Now that, K Tresp, I really would love to see, but London isn't too practicable for me, and the ticket prices... Maybe it might get televised/recorded sometime? Keith

not cheap but think will make an exception for this one. Am based up north but (unfortunately) have to travel to london regularly so should be able to combine with a few other things. Dont know whether it will be televised or recorded but will feedback if I find out.

Today I contacted the Victoria bar bistro to make sure our table was reserved for Tuesday night , and to see Luke Jackson . They replied that we wouldn't be having dinner as no one except me has booked they are going to lay on snacks and drink but that's it . I can't believe I'm the only booking and basically a free gig for one if not the best young talents out there . All its going to cost us is a few drinks . So if anyone here is free on Tuesday night that's the 15th at around 8.30pm then come along and have a great night seriously you won't regret it .

TONIGHT ! Spalding's Elizabeth Padgett and Martin Browne at the Last Thursday, Swineshead, Lincs. FREE BEER will not be available and FREE ADMISSION is merely the dream of derelicts and the nightmare of Tory Toffs- not to say that there won't be any for those offering favours to the bouncer.
7.45 for 8.pm start. Informal dress.

I meant to post this yesterday but forgot . Martyn Joseph is playing the pleasance in Edinburgh this Saturday that's the 2nd at 8pm and he's supported by the superb Wuillie Porter . I'm absolutely gutted I can't go as his gigs are the highlight of my year . There has been issues with the contact number for the venue so call 01524414043 this will put you onto Nicky Woodhead Martyns PA . She can take payment over the phone .

This is a bit of a ground-breaker; An exhibition of watercolour paintings during which the artist will perform original material along with his folk group . That's him , Phil Biggs, between John Blanks and Mark Addison on acoustic bass Here's an open invitation to the preview ; www.artscoritani.com/forthcoming_events.htm' Big Phil ' Biggs plays a very tasty Lowden. Much of the band's original material focuses upon events and places in Lincolnshire. Admission is free. I'm particularly interested in musicians who double as painters. Anybody know of any others ?

Hi - can I let you guys know about a forthcoming event? Please let me know if there is a more appropriate 'events' page though... Thanks American virtuoso guitarist Doyle Dykes is to play just 4 exclusive sets at Knebworth House, the Hertfordshire stately home. Said to be ‘one of the best finger-style guitarists in the world’, Doyle will be performing on 14th & 15th December in the fabulous setting of the Banqueting Hall here at Knebworth. Tickets priced £21.50 are selling fast for this unique occasion; and mulled wine, mince pies and a splendid Christmas tree will add to the atmosphere. For more info and ticket bookings for the matinee and evening performances see www.knebworthhouse.com

Hi knebworth - welcome to the Forum. Looks like a great gig! Hope you'll stick around and see what goes on around here too. This is a great place for new members to say hi, but as your main intention for now is to let us know about the gigs, there is a Gig list thread in the general section, so I'll move your post over to there - hope that's OK with you. Keith
