Excellent removal of redundant frets, francis and birdo, though there still seem to be 8 too many (not including the 0 fret - nice touch)

The more frets the more wrong notes I can hit. Removing them just improved my playing by 20 % .

Bit more progress on the parlour.... Back cut to shape (oversize) Sides paired ready for bending: Side in the bender - pre heating (note steam): Cooking... Still cooking...

Well after a long, long, long time of being able to do anything in the workshop the temp actually hit 10°C So I continued with some of the router work on the headstock and started to fit the inlays: The headstock facing is bog oak and the inlay is paduak the white black white lines are maple and probably a stained wood although it is very brittle but I don't think ebony. Come on summer....

Very nice. Is that bog oak again? Sure is John - bit more work to do on it yet but it's getting there.... Clean-up started - need to put a 20ft radius on the base and reduce the height....

That looks fantastic. I ve never really examined each component part of a guitar in such detail before. Some of the small details like grain matching the wood in the rosette are amazing and show a level of attention that I don’t think I would have if I was was building it. Hats off to you Francis..
