Like I said elsewhere, flippin' awesome Keith. That there Bridge Cruise is absolutely breathtaking. The guitar sounds as bright as a very shiny button and I can't imagine anyone else making it sound better.
The matching socks photo is strangely disquieting....

Thanks again all commenters and likers - Anthea deffo likes DADGAD (well, FCFBbCF anyway). Here's a slower one, capo 4 (equiv to 7 on "normal" guitar, remember)and Anthea still rings beautifully. This one is in dropped D (dropped F!)and is again one I've posted before played on other guitars. I love the chimey thing with a high capo position here. Usual recording "technique", ie flat eq, no effects or other tarting up apart from tidying up the beginning and end. How did I manage to sit so off centre? I think because I was in a rush and didn't remember to check until almost through, and I wasn't going to stop then! In fact this vid is the first one EVER that went reasonably OK the very first time through. Also even blurrier pic this time, sorry. Glyn has got Anthea for a day or two now, though I may squeeze one more out of her (ooer) before handing over to Dale on Saturday. We'll see. Keith

I'd like to know how you managed to do all these videos in such a short space of time. You must be knackered and a nervous wreck, I know I would be. Lovely stuff and a joy to listen to.

lovely tune ocarolan, particularly enjoy the subtle shifts in mood, in places it has a little 'claptonesque' flavour, it reminded me of tears in heaven in part but obviously a passing resemblance otherwise very much in your style. I'm intrigued by the t-shirt too, is it the evolution of man culminating in the shed? If so, I need to get one for my father in law, given that he has nearly completed his shed magnum-opus.... oh and I like asymmetry too so off-centre works for me

Thanks robmc - I reckon Eric may well have nicked bits of this off me - it predates Tears in Heaven by 4 or 5 years - perhaps I should ask him for a few quid? You're spot on about the t-shirt though, Rob - I'm sure your f-i-l would love one, as would any sheddie I'm sure. Keith

Those videos of "The First Day of Spring" and "Love, Joy, Peace" highlight both the guitars and the players high qualities! The balance of sound from Anthea sounds spot on, and she certainly copes just fine in your hands with altered tunings and the capo. For the equivalent of a 7th fret capo on a normal guitar to still sound that full still from such a small body is testament to the building and design skills of Dave. All very excellent - great demos of the guitar Keith and in such a wide range of styles too. Mark

Firstly...... FAO of Mr White.....what an awesome Guitar Dave, the balance, sustain, overall sound is just fab! so so much from a small (but BIG sounding) guitar Secondly....Yep its me, Glyn (Nuffsed).....I'm still alive, and will except totally, all the boll###ings for not having been on the Forum for quit some time Thirdly....thanks for allowing me to have Anthea for a couple of days Keith (and Dave of course), I,ve so enjoyed playing/noodling very much. Fourthly.....Having listened to Keiths recordings, which are just stunning, I've decided not to upload my feeble attempts at recording a few songs/noodlings Fifthly......OK, I will, but DO NOT expect anything like wot Keith has done, or previous recipients of Anthea. I suffered (and still do) a lot from "Red Light Syndrome", you know, where as soon as you press the record button the hands/fingers don't really work very well, and have a life of their own Anyway, I will attempt to upload a couple of recordings soon (or I might just pass to Keith and ask him, it will be quicker!!) Good to be back here, and catch up on things/people/friends. Bye for now Glyn

Lovely to meet Dale ( earthbalm), who kindly drove over from S Wales this morning to do the handover. Pics to follow. And I do have one last vid to process (sorry, but my face is in it) as well as some guitar pics to upload. Bit short of time atm, so will be back later/tomoz/whenever! davewhite - really enjoyed giving Anthea a good seeing too, Dave. She's a real go-er! Thanks again for your continued generosity in setting up these Trips, and your amazing skills at producing such wonderful instruments to send on them! Keith
