Lovely to meet Dale ( earthbalm ), who kindly drove over from S Wales this morning to do the handover. Pics to follow. And I do have one last vid to process (sorry, but my face is in it) as well as some guitar pics to upload. Bit short of time atm, so will be back later/tomoz/whenever! davewhite - really enjoyed giving Anthea a good seeing too, Dave. She's a real go-er! Thanks again for your continued generosity in setting up these Trips, and your amazing skills at producing such wonderful instruments to send on them! Keith Very lovely to meet (Keith) ocarolan and to be able to manage a drive down from Wales to the West of England that avoided much of the snow fall. I have finally met with Anthea and will post pictures later. I'm going to have to invest in some recording equipment before I can post and audio or video (probably the former) but my first impressions are that she is loud for such a small bodied guitar, has a very sweet tone and sustains for forever. Thanks davewhite for the opportunity to take part in the road trip and Keith for such a pleasant handover. Hope I didn't talk too much! Diolch i chi. Dale

I suffered (and still do) a lot from "Red Light Syndrome" As did leoroberts - so much so that he wrote a whole song about it

I can confirm that this guitar sounds just as sweet and sustaining in Csus2 and Gsus4/4 (CGCGCD and CGDGCD) as it does in DADGAD and standard tunings. Lovely!
Also: For most of the songs I play, I can 'sing' at my preferred pitch without having to use a capo. Not 'Granemore Hare' though - I sound like a choirboy with a freshly broken voice.

Final fling!
... in which it becomes painfully obvious why I tend to avoid singing in front of a webcam whilst trying to read the words on my PC monitor!
I wrote this one at least 35 years ago when still living in Sheffield, but wishing I were in the Lake District. very exotic dropped D (F!) chooning here.
Hopefully soon I'll upload some still pics of Anthea, plus the handover to Dale.
Keith

Some deep cuts here Keith, I really enjoyed this and probably appreciated it more so than when it was first released as I'd have been busy at nursery school

Firstly...... FAO of Mr White.....what an awesome Guitar Dave, the balance, sustain, overall sound is just fab! so so much from a small (but BIG sounding) guitar Secondly....Yep its me, Glyn (Nuffsed).....I'm still alive, and will except totally, all the boll###ings for not having been on the Forum for quit some time Thirdly....thanks for allowing me to have Anthea for a couple of days Keith (and Dave of course), I,ve so enjoyed playing/noodling very much. Fourthly.....Having listened to Keiths recordings, which are just stunning, I've decided not to upload my feeble attempts at recording a few songs/noodlings Fifthly......OK, I will, but DO NOT expect anything like wot Keith has done, or previous recipients of Anthea. I suffered (and still do) a lot from "Red Light Syndrome", you know, where as soon as you press the record button the hands/fingers don't really work very well, and have a life of their own Anyway, I will attempt to upload a couple of recordings soon (or I might just pass to Keith and ask him, it will be quicker!!) Good to be back here, and catch up on things/people/friends. Bye for now Glyn OK...so here is a song written by myself, accompanied by Anthea. Once again I apologise for the gaffs etc

Proof of handover, though not so easy doing a selfie with an SLR - Dale staring thoughfully out of the window and wondering how soon he can politely leave so as to be alone with Anthea! Must meet up again soon Dale, Anthea or no Anthea! Keith
