Dee do dow don’t dee dow. I presume that's Glaswegian for the pubs open? An epic fail on my part. It was meant to be scouse for agreeing with the previous post about how good the two guitars look. Bilingual I clearly ain’t.

I've had a couple of longish sessions with both guitars now... Both play beautifully with excellent intonation , no buzzes , rattles or "dead" notes ...minimal retuning required when using a capo and both seem to have sweet spots at the third and fifth frets which is great as I use those positions quite a lot. The Mk 2 with the Bocote back and sides has an amazing bottom end whilst still retaining warm middles and clear trebles...and it is loud!! It will be great for double drop D tuning which I use quite a bit. The Mk 1 with the Yew back and sides has a more restrained bottom end with slightly "sweeter" mids and trebles ...always hard to put tone into words. The Mk 2 has a K and K mini fitted...I've quickly managed to dial in some very acceptable amplified sounds...all strings nicely balanced with good separation and clarity. I'm particularly pleased about this as I've not always had success with K and K equipped instruments in the past...a great relief! So... a fine start. Francis francis has done a fine job with both instruments...huge thanks to him!
