Rodders: If you want to look cool and hard, it's gotta be one of these: Hagstrom Tremar P90 Ibanez AR720FM Oh my. Yes, I particularly like the Ibanez

I know what you mean about the Ibanez Rodders. Every time I see that pic, I want one. And there's a shop in Sheffield that has one in. Why wasn't I born rich?

Looks like a vintage version of this: *Pete resists spoiling the carpet by drooling.*

I found one of those teles near me. The exact one. Now I'm convincing myself I can't justify/afford £500 for an electrified guitar Yeah, you can. Going back to electric reawakened parts of me that had seemed so dead they wouldn't have responded to a cattle prod.

Excellent.
I don't care what anyone says, red guitars sound better just by being red.

What shop might that be? I was thinking of Richtone, in Sheffield. Though it seems they only have the vintage burst one, in the shop. The honey burst (from my pic)can be obtained in 3-5 days, apparently.

Get her, Martin! Cool guitar! To get the best out of this beauty without playing in a band, of course you also need one of these: And then plug in the guitar, plug in the in-ears and forget the world outside At least that's what I did yesterday evening with my PRS SE. Worked splendidly I meant to ask, Akquarius....what is this? Is it an effects box or headphone amp? How does it let me play without a band?

Actually, it's not honeyburst but whiskyburst (much harder). And they do have one in stock, at Gear4Music, in York. I have no link to either of these shops or Ibanez

I have no link to either of these shops or Ibanez I don't believe you, but I don't care. The only thing that's slightly putting me off is the abalone stuff around the edges, but I think the name "whiskyburst" might well make up for that

Speaking of Gear4Music, and in light of Bernd's earlier recommendation of a Line6 Pod, I just ordered one of these... I was on the lookout for a headphone amp for portable, quiet practice, and this thing not only gives you that, but also works as a DI box and an overdrive pedal, and it's analogue, and it's built using metal
