I think that anyone who has had a new guitar in the last year should be excluded from the draw. Joining them should be anyone whose given first name is not Brian.

Totally agree; and those greedy bu**ers who have had 2 x NGDs in last year should donate 1 of them. By the way I've just changed my name by deedpoll to Brian which counts as given ... I’m so relieved you got the hard case for it. I don’t want any damage before I take possession in Halifax. It IS a beauty.

The Guitar is finished!
First good day next week I'll get the final pictures up.
I'm toying with a game of musical chairs to decide the winner, gives everyone a chance, big ones can push little people out of the way and the little ones can sneak in little gaps left by the big uns.

Just the last processes to show, The bridge was carefully positioned and two guide holes drilled in the top. The area of the bridge carefully had the finish removed. The bridge was then glued with hot hide glue. After seeing Dave's squeezeout I'm suffering from feelings of inadequacy! Saddle, bridge and string the bugger up! Colin

Well it's all finished as I said, it's played its first notes, and at least it sound vaguely guitar-like, can't wait to hear you guys play it. A reminder of the components: B&S: Brazilian Rosewood, kindly supplied by Iain. Top: Swiss spruce Neck: Curly Mahogany/Walnut Bindings: Walnut Headplates/Fingerboard/Bridge: Brazilian Rosewood Tuners: Schertler A few pictures, I'll try and get some better ones. So, who will be the new owner, look out for the next instalment at the big Halifax Bash! Colin
